Here's your design with finishing effects and a couple of detail-closeups. All the grey shades now have a metalic appearance. The rim around the piper's ring has been expanded, and this entire central element has been enlarged a bit, to give it greater focus and presence. The body of the maltese is lighter than the original color, and a slight aged texture has been added. A variety of bevels, shadows and textures have been blended in to bring the entire design together.
